Our Company

Ablation Frontiers is a team of dedicated medical scientists, biomedical engineers, and other professionals focused on the development of novel technologies that restore normal heart function to individuals afflicted with cardiac arrhythmias. Headquartered in Carlsbad, California, the company was founded in 2004 based on the innovative catheter concepts of two leading electrophysiologists from the University of Michigan and their collaborative efforts with a team of creative engineers.

The company’s Cardiac Ablation System received the CE Mark in late 2006 and is marketed throughout the European Union and other international markets. Additionally, Ablation Frontiers has received approval from the FDA to conduct a clinical trial under the investigational device exemption (IDE) to gain approval for the sale in the U.S. The company is privately funded through venture capital investment.
